Brainlabs was founded in 2012 by Daniel Gilbert when the former Googler spotted an opportunity to build an agency made up of engineers, statisticians and data scientists. Over the last twelve years, Brainlabs has supercharged its growth from one to over 850 Brainlabbers, acquired and integrated eight agencies and expanded its international footprint beyond its London HQ. Brainlabs has seen exponential growth in recent years, and with its high-performance approach to media, has transformed from a UK PPC agency into one of the fastest growing global agencies in the world. In November 2021, this fast growth strategy attracted media industry titan, Stephen Allan, to join the agency as Executive Chairman. Clients include Estée Lauder Companies, adidas and WeTransfer. In September 2023, Brainlabs announced its new investment partner, private equity firm Falfurrias Capital Partners (FCP), followed swiftly by the opening of a new operation in Poland. In January 2024 Brainlabs acquired Sparro, the largest independent digital media agency in Australia.
